Through the gift matching initiative at Harvard Graduate School of Education (“HGSE”), CTF Education Group Charitable Foundation has established the CTF Education Group Teaching and Teacher Leadership Fellowship Fund (the “Fund”) to support teaching and teacher leadership. The Fund’s endowment of USD$1 million will provide financial aid to qualifying Teaching and Teacher Leadership students at HGSE. Eligible students from Mainland China, Hong Kong and other overseas locations will receive priority consideration for financial aid from the Fund.
“At CTF Education Group, we are committed to supporting teachers’ professional development,” said Jennifer Yu Cheng, Group President and Deputy Vice Chairwoman of CTF Education Group and a graduate of HGSE. “By equipping teachers with the knowledge, perspectives, and leadership skills HGSE provides, we hope to position them to make an even greater, more meaningful impact on a new generation of students – to introduce further innovations and strategic thinking into schools, communities, and education systems to help shape a better future world,”
“Support from CTF Education Group and others ensures HGSE is invested in the teaching profession at a moment of great need in today’s classrooms,” said Josh Butts, Senior Associate Dean for Development, HGSE.
