Victoria Educational Organisation won the "Most Participated Schools Award" in UNICEF “Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition"

Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO) has participated in “Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition”, a fundraising event organized by UNICEF HK , and achieved the “Most Participated School Award”. Mrs Lyn Cheetham, Supervisor of VEO, was pleased to receive the award on behalf of the organisation. Under the theme ”for every child, a better world”, our talented young artists expressed their dreams to create a better world, and demonstrated the spirit of kids helping kids through colors and drawings.

Over 1,500 little artists gathered in Central and Western District Promenade to take part in this meaningful charity event. More than HK$1.55 million was raised to support UNICEF’s Cash Transfers for Deprived Children project in China, enabling women from underprivileged families in rural China to have access to prenatal and postnatal check-ups, hospital delivery and vaccination for their babies.

VEO strives to pursue quality early childhood education and contribute to early childhood development. Over the past decade, the owner of VEO has donated over HK$10 million to support women and their children in deprived areas in China. Through the initiative, around 22,000 mother-baby pairs in the mainland have benefited from the project, giving their children a healthy start in life.
